It goes without saying, I am tickled pink to be among millennials as my co-awardees, who share the same age as my own four millennial children.

I would like to thank my family for their unconditional love. To my husband, Oscar, for his unwavering support, reassurance, understanding, and dauntless patience from day one.
To my siblings, thank you for your continued support and to our Mom and Dad who are up there in heaven, thank you for teaching us to be hardworking, to do our very best, to stay humble with gratitude and strong faith in God.
Coming from an over-the-hill agent, ergo, a Senior Citizen, I feel humbled that God has chosen me to be an inspiration.

I recently came across a short video of a 10-year old child who asked a simple yet profound question: What do you practice every day? This seemingly innocent challenge somehow struck a nerve inside of me that I began to wonder: What do I really practice every day, as an agent, as a colleague, as a leader, and as a fellow human being?
The same video suggests that whatever we practice on a daily basis, whether good or bad, we will eventually become masters of it. So I find it best to post the same question to all of us. And I will do this not because I want to exalt myself nor preach. I am far from perfect, at best, a work in progress.

With everything that I went through last year, my son Ramon has served as my anchor and rock. He is really my life and gives me a lot of love, a sense of direction and hope.
Bagging the Branch Manager category is really important for me. It’s something that I have prayed, wished, and worked really hard for.
I thank God for seeing me worthy to accept this on behalf of ESLIA. Lord, thank you for leading me to people who can help me and ESLIA achieve this milestone. I have learned so much in more than 7 years with Pru Life UK.
Last year, I think God has given me more than just financial rewards but most importantly, I have found my voice. I have found new discoveries about myself. I’ve learned about my strengths and weaknesses. I guess among the three, the technicalities versus the ethics and all, I guess this is the most important. I’m at the stage of my life that I became more confident in terms of what do I like, and I do not like. So, thank you Lord for all the blessings and thank you God for my life.
I have learned a lot in my over 30 years of practice. But allow me to share two.First is the winning culture. Efforts to establish this culture is work in progress in Jasper. To do this, each member of the family must have an intelligent heart—a heart that prioritizes the interest of the client first. A leader’s heart that truly cares for the agents’ welfare. Genuine! Not manipulative. A heart that knows its “why” and incredibly determined to pursue it to the final beat. A heart that keeps on beating in the midst of uncertainties, difficulties and even failures because it has to fight for its “why.”The second is the culture of excellence. It is a product of a winning mindset, grit and passion. To sustain excellence, another habit or virtue has to be lived. That is humility.Go for Excellence and winning culture. Let’s do away with the negatives and judging others. Let’s love, forgive and serve. Let’s live life to the fullest.

Everyone here is a Winner!2019 was a year of new learnings, new experiences and new adventures.Today I am a father to Ashley and 5000+ other babies, toddlers, children, teens and young adults. Some Agents are just like babies, we really have to care for them as they are very fragile and sensitive. To our toddler Agents, you are their hero and you can do nothing wrong; when they see you, they will really hug you. On the other hand, our teenager Agents, are those who feel we can do nothing right. Teens will be teens. All we hope of is that one day our teen Agents will grow up to be like our young adult Agents—who are always there, messaging us at times when they know that there are days too much to bear.
